Our Little Graduate

On May 20th Nate graduated from Garner United Methodist Preschool.
Thanks to (left to right) Miss Colleen, Miss Megan and Mrs. West for a great year.

The Graduates each proceeded to the front of the Sanctuary so parents could get a good photo op. Nate rushed down the aisle too quickly for us to get a good one. He just wanted the whole thing to be over.

The kids were all well behaved despite one particular dad who kept making funny faces to get his son to crack. They sang a myriad of songs which made us all smile (and laugh.) I have to admit, I got a little teary-eyed thinking Nate would be a kindergartner in the fall.

Here's a little taste of the performance. Enjoy!

Easter...yes, we're REALLY behind...

The night before Easter we decorated eggs as a family. The kids had a blast although they weren't pleased that I made them wear their halloween pj's in case they got dyed.
The kids were super happy to find their Easter baskets early the next morning and that the Easter bunny had hidden all their decorated eggs. I'm sure the primary leaders were thrilled that our kids had Peeps for breakfast.

The fruits of our labors. Andrew and I actually had a pretty good time too...and dyed the majority of the eggs.Last year we couldn't figure out why Nate kept saying "The Easter Bunny is REALLY tricky." It wasn't until we bought some trix yogurt with the bunny featured on the packaging several months later that we figured it out. Now we know why... Trix really ARE for kids.

Dora LIVE!

So we're a little behind. Don't mind as we get all caught up... March 18th Emma and I went to our favorite kid museum/play place to see Dora and Diego. Emma was super excited, but lost a little steam after waiting in the LONG LONG line to get a photo. (And I will have to say, Dora LIVE is not as chipper as the cartoon.)

Jumping on the Bandwagon

So I thought it was time to give up our Mac address and join all of you bloggers. I figure, we might actually blog more often if its a little easier...we'll see.
